Before Biosphere Expeditions, little attention was paid by my government to the reefs of Musandam. This has all changed and there are now protected areas, based on scientific advice, and a local NGO, coming out of capacity-building efforts. Thank you so much for all this.

Biosphere Expeditions' support of our snow leopard conservation work here in Kyrgyzstan is crucial. With the help of their citizen scientists, we can get so much more work done, engage with locals more and create economic incentives based on ethical, low-impact citizen science tourism.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Biosphere Expeditions, because it played a big role in my life choices. My first expedition with them was to Oman and it opened my eyes to the importance of nature conservation, so I changed my career path, have been on lots more expeditions and never looked back. You have inspiring leaders and scientists that are great role models. Our experience in Costa Rica has been fascinating and rewarding thanks to these incredible people, this amazing place and the efforts to save sea turtles. The memories of this inspiring journey will last a lifetime and we were fortunate to share it with you.
