Wise is an online banking service that has very low charges (for you and us) and gives excellent exchange rates. All you need to log into Wise, specify the amount you owe in EUR, pick your own currency and then proceed. You can then settle via your bank account, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SOFORT, etc (depending which country your account is in). The system also makes sure that we receive exactly the right amount without any of the random charges that banks often levy at your or our expense. If you select this option, the next screen will provide instructions and a link to sign up to Wise.

If you have an account in the Eurozone, this is the easiest option. Simply transfer funds to Biosphere Expeditions, IBAN BE52 9670 2407 0009, SWIFT/BIC TRWIBEB1XXX. If your account is not inside the Eurozone, traditional banks often make mistakes and transfer the wrong amount. Many will also levy obscene charges at very bad exchange rates. We therefore recommend options 1 (Wise) or 3 (card paymenrt) for those outside the Eurozone. If you still want to go down this option 2 bank to bank transfer route, then please make sure that all charges are to your account and that your bank sends the full amount outstanding in EUR, not your local currency.

You can also pay by card (as you can via Wise in option 1). If you want to stick with this card option 3, you will be redirected to our payment partner Stripe where you will provide your credit card data. Note that each credit card transaction will incur a fee, which varies widely (up to 4%) depending on the card, because it is so expensive for us to receive card payments.
